Downpour!


Finally, this afternoon, rain!  It really started pouring at 4:30, and didn't stop raining for at least an hour.  

I'm especially thrilled because this means that I don't have to get up early to water for at least a week.

    There's nothing quite so exciting, when the rain stops, as reading the rain gauge!

    That's wonderful, Lori! It looks like your part of Austin got a couple of inches which should make a real difference.
    We got some rain up here, too - maybe 6/10 of an inch which was welcome but we'll still need to water in a few days.
