Just the tiniest climactic difference between there and here where I am between Austin and Marble Falls. But it's enough that a lot of the stuff that grows in SA freezes out here. Too much to see! I also like the other bumpy trunk photo you have--another thing I missed seeing. Both seem to be plants appropriate for the evil side of your garden.<br /><br />I'm taken by the contrast of the silvery-leaved palm. I wonder if it is the same as the blue fan palm we saw on the Master Gardener's tour or different.
